Application Fields of Nitrogen Generator (Part I)
Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless gas with a volume percentage of 78.03% in air, and is a chemically inert gas. Utilizing its inert characteristics, nitrogen is widely used to prevent oxidation, combustion and explosion. Nitrogen generator is used include the following field:
I Oil and natural gas
Nitrogen is widely used in the following upstream aspects of the oil and gas industry:
1) Underbalanced drilling and well completion
2) Oil and gas exploitation, to enhance oil and gas recovery
3) Oil and gas pipeline purging.
In offshore drilling platforms, the application of Nitrogen Producing Equipment is similar to that on land, but due to its demanding space requirements, it is more suitable for Nitrogen Generator with smaller volumes.
II Coal Mine
In the aspect of fire prevention, fire extinguishing, prevention of gas explosion and other operations, Nitrogen can effectively prevent and eliminate the hidden danger of fire in places with gas or gas outbursts or coal seams prone to spontaneous combustion, and ensure safe production.
III Chemicals
Chemically inert nitrogen is often used in the production, storage and transportation of chemical products. Nitrogen is used in the chemical industry to prevent combustion, moisture and oxidation. It is widely used in the transportation of chemicals, the protection of materials and catalysts in the chemical production process, the nitrogen sealing of chemical product packaging, the purging of chemical pipelines and containers, and the chemical industry.
