The centreless lathe is mainly used to process the outer skin of round steel as well as rectangular metal materials such as pipes. The machine can quickly and efficiently remove the decarburisation layer, cracks and other defects on the surface of the bars.

1、Deep and irregular traces


Cause: Slackness of the grinding wheel of the centreless lathe.


Solution: Insert the liner between the cam and the grinding wheel and rack it steadily.


2、High in the middle or low in the middle


Cause: Poor adjustment of the guide plate.


Solution: Take a good guide plate parallel, reduce the tilt of the adjusting wheel basket and increase the angle of the adjusting wheel dressing device of the centerless lathe.


3、Vibration


Vibration of the machine is a common fault, and vibration is caused by many factors.


(1) The heart height is too high → reduce the heart height;


2) The supporting tool plate is too thin → increase the thickness;


3) large grinding volume → reduce the grinding volume


4) poor choice of grinding grit → increase the number of times


5) slackness of the grinding wheel setting table → re-locking the screws;


6) bending of the supporting tool plate → correcting the supporting tool plate;


7) poor setting of the supporting tool plate → re-tightening the clamping screws;


8) slackness of the mandrel → adjusting the mandrel of the adjustment wheel of the centreless lathe;


9) external vibration → re-locking the keeper exchange diamond and isolating external vibration;


10) Support tool plate angle too large, support tool plate angle too large → reduce angle.
