The pure water electrolytic hydrogen generation device is a new type of green water electrolytic hydrogen generation system independently developed by our institute in recent years, with hydrogen production capacity of 0.01~300Nm3/h in a single device, which can be applied to hydrogen generation from renewable energy, hydrogen supply from hydrogen refueling stations in hydrogen energy infrastructure, natural gas hydrogen blending and other technologies, and is widely used in transportation field, power grid energy storage, smart microgrid and military field.
The key technologies of this device include the preparation of core functional materials, high performance catalysts and membrane electrodes, corrosion protection technology under high temperature and pressure, high performance flow field pole plate design and processing technology, intelligent modular design and system integration technology.
The most important feature of this type of device is that it adopts pure water electrolysis, which is pollution-free, corrosion-free and has higher hydrogen purity. Compared with the traditional alkaline hydrogen production device, its advantages include high current density, current density can be more than 1A/cm2; low energy consumption, high efficiency, electrolysis hydrogen production efficiency can be more than 85%; small size and light weight of hydrogen production device; good adaptability to wide power fluctuation and intelligent control of hydrogen production from 0 to 100%; high degree of integration of the device, long-term stable operation, simple start-up and shutdown, and low maintenance cost.
