What is a roll grinder? What's the use
The roll grinder is a metal cutting machine tool, which is composed of a machine bed, a head frame, a tail frame, a bracket, a vertical and horizontal carriage, a grinding head, a measuring frame and an electric numerical control system. It is divided into five subsystems: a bearing system, a driving system, a grinding system, a measuring system and a control system. The workpiece is supported by the head frame, tail frame and bracket, and is driven to rotate by the head frame. According to the mathematical model of the generatrix on the roll surface, the CNC system controls the machine tool to perform multi axis compound movement, and realizes the grinding of the metal on the roll surface by the grinding wheel during the movement. The online measurement system feeds back the measured data to the grinder control system in real time, and the control system controls the machine in a closed loop to complete the precision machining of the workpiece.
