The water tank type wire drawing machine is a small continuous production equipment. It is composed of many drawing heads. After step-by-step drawing, the drawing heads are placed in the water tank, and finally the steel wire that meets the requirements is pulled out according to the required specifications. Water tank wire drawing machines are divided into heavy-duty water tanks and flip water tanks. Suitable for drawing various metal wires of medium and fine specifications, especially suitable for drawing high, medium and low carbon steel wires, galvanized iron wires, bead steel wires, hose steel wires, tungsten, molybdenum, titanium and other alloy wires, steel cords, copper wires and aluminum wires, etc.

The core link of the water tank wire drawing machine is the winding link, which also directly affects the quality of the steel wire. For winding, there are usually several control methods:

1. The tension roller is used for adjustment. The tension during winding is guaranteed by the counterweight of the tension roller itself.

2. Using torque control, the tension during winding is determined by the torque given, but the change in winding diameter will lead to unbalanced winding tension.

3. For water tank wire drawing machines with high process requirements, the first control method is usually used, using the PID correction function of the frequency converter ACS510 to control the tension roller adjustment.

Most domestic water tank wire drawing machine manufacturers generally configure about 20 drawing heads. After one level of drawing, the wire diameter of the steel wire changes, so the working line speed of each drawing head is also different. During the entire drawing process, only one motor is driven through a mechanical transmission or gearbox.
